
High Protein Chaat
This high-protein chaat blends sweet potatoes, rich in fibre and antioxidants, with paneer, an excellent source of high-quality protein and calcium. A tasty twist to street-style snacking, this sweet potato chaat paired with a high-protein dip offers flavour, and balance. This can be had as a meal in itself.

Ingredients:
For the sweet potato chaat:
Sweet potato – 500 g
Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Salt – To taste
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
For the protein dip:
Paneer – 200g
Prozuca powder: 50g
Dried Kashmiri red chillies, soaked – 3 to 4
Cashews/Almonds/Walnuts, soaked – 7 to 8
Garlic – 2 cloves
Oregano or Italian seasoning – 1 tbsp
Chili flakes – 1 tbsp
Salt – To taste
Water – 1–2 tsp (only if needed for blending)
Method:
For the chaat:
Wash & boil the sweet potatoes until just tender (not mushy). You can also steam or pressure cook for better nutrient retention.
Cool and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into bite-sized cubes.
In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato pieces with garlic powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder, and salt
Mix well and toss again for even coating.
For the protein dip:
Discard the water used for soaking the red chillies and nuts.
In a blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Add 1–2 teaspoons of water only if needed to adjust consistency.
Add this dip to the sweet potato chaat and mix well.
Serve the chaat garnished with freshly chopped coriander.
Note: You can transfer the remaining dip to an airtight container and refrigerate. It stays fresh for 4 to 5 days. Serve chilled as a dip with veggie sticks or use as a protein-packed spread for sandwiches and wraps.
